Small shop in reception could do with a local chip shop 4 miles nearest showers very very clean twice wife had to use another block as cleaner in there
Some very tough pegs needed for gravel and very very hard surface. £10 fee needed for key fob for gate will Deffo use again
Only needs play park for kids as just a field in middle for them (I also wondered where the penguin bins came from looked like ones stolen from redcar sea front a few years back lol )see you again soon
Family 2 adults 2 children

Thanks for the review Peter. Just to clarify we've had Pingu in the family for about 15 years now and as far as we know he's only ever lived in Snainton and Lebberston! The nearest chippy is in Cayton about 1.5miles away and just under 3 miles in the other direction is Filey centre which has lots of chippys and other eateries. Just let us know next time you visit and we'll point you in the right direction. Look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Just stopped here over the May bank holiday, the best campsite we have been to, very warm welcome they put our caravan on the pitch to ensure it was level. Nice open campsite with excellent clean facilities, area in the middle away from caravans for kids to play and quiet on a night time we will definitely be back.

Great place to stay clean and everyone is pleasant would not stay anywhere else

Just returned home following a lovely 2 night stay at Lebberston - our first at this site - and I have to say, we were not disappointed! It is beautifully kept and the showers and toilets are spotless. The staff are all very friendly and always on hand to help. It was very quiet during our stay and we left feeling extremely relaxed! The site is on a bus route to many places of interest (Scarborough, Filey, Beverley, etc) and there is a lovely pub 10 min walk away which does beautiful food (and quite large portions!). We loved it at Lebberston and will definitely be returning!

Lovely campsite good location and very clean toilet blocks and helpful friendly staff. We come to this campsite every year we LOVE IT xxx

What a superb site, very friendly and helpful staff and management, even put our caravan on site, it was as level as a billiard table, showers and the whole site immaculate, if you want the best, this is the place to be, going back for our second and defiantly NOT our last visit, many thanks to all staff at Lebberston.

Lovely site, in a great place for exploring the East Coast of Yorkshire. Shower blocks spotless, but they close for cleaning at 10.15am? Way too early for a leisurely Saturday or Sunday morning. You either have to be there early or queue for the 2 showers left open. Such a shame!

Hi Julie - Thanks for your review, we're delighted you liked the park and enjoyed your stay with us.  We're a little unsure about the loo block closing problem though.  We have three loo blocks and they close in turn so there are always two others open at all times giving a minimum of four accessible showers for both ladies and gents.  Across the three loo blocks we have six showers for ladies and six for the gents plus a unisex shower room, a family bathroom and a unisex disabled shower room.  Next time you come and visit just ask and we'll be only too pleased to point out the other blocks.  Hope to see you again soon and enjoy your caravanning summer!

Excellent site, friendly and very clean.  The owners couldn't be more helpful, even siting our caravan.  Kids enjoyed the open space and felt very safe as we could see them at all times.  One of the best sites in Scarborough, would definitely recommend.

Visited over the bank holiday and found a little gem. Perfectly placed for visiting the coast is this beautifully clean site. Spotlessly clean toilets and shower block run by lovely people who are on hand to help. Will definitely be back soon its the cleanest site weve visited. Thanks guys.

Thank you to Kim for submitting this review.  It has encouraged so many guests to come to our park, secure in the knowledge that they will experience exactly what we advertise.  Immaculate grounds and facilities, peace, quiet, relaxation and consideration for others.

I have just spent 5 days on this site.
The site is immaculate, grounds and facilities
Central location to coastal resorts
Competively prices for peak season
Thought I was at an army boot camp for 5 days
A 2 page set of rules to adhere to, 2 strikes & your off site
They try to be dog friendly but clearly not. Dogs must not go out your \”unit\” space, walk on any grass other than dog field, and be on short leads all the time
Lights out at 10pm so if you want to sit outside on your holiday after this time not allowed, even told off 1 night, we were 3 couples 47yrs – 56yrs.
Being treat like naughty school children spoilt my time there.
Children not really catered for, 1 grass area.
Queing for a shower, not enough for all the units on site.
Grass cutting and strimmjng grounds constantly.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments on our park, particularly the immaculate grounds and facilities which we work very hard to provide for our valued customers. While we certainly do not want our beautiful park to feel like a boot camp, we do have standard park rules which we do enforce.
Rules for dog owners are clear and concise and are there to avoid any doubt or confusion as to the responsibilities of pet ownership on our park. This ensures pet owners and non-pet owners alike can enjoy their time with us.
We do not usually accept group bookings of three or more units however the person booking the pitch for you reassured us that you were not noisy. They were advised at the time of booking that this was a very quiet park and of the rules for quiet time as well as receiving a booking confirmation which also detailed this. Some guests do not realise how much sound travels at night and how loud even a quiet conversation is when conducted either outside or in an awning (particularly when someone is trying to sleep in a nearby unit). This very occasionally warrants a gentle reminder.
As a five star park there are very specific ratios to abide to in the provision of sanitary facilities which we fall well within and therefore the statement regarding the showers is factually incorrect. Obviously during school holidays and Bank Holidays the park is full and there are busier times for using these facilities.
Each caravan park is different with each person wanting different things from their holiday and we are sorry that our park did not prove suitable for you. We advertise and provide an immaculate park for those who desire a quiet relaxing break. We have guidelines for all our customers which request courtesy and consideration towards others to enable this vision to be achieved. As a result we very much enjoy welcoming the vast majority of our guests back year after year which is testament to in our other reviews.
