History Of The Park

In 1971 Lebberston dairy farmers Chris and Ann Jackson achieved planning permission to change the use of one of their fields and diversified into running a caravan park. They worked very hard, building an amenity block and installing around sixty pitches (about half of the project) which is all that funds would allow for at the time.

A few years later they were approached by their bank manager who told them to get the other half done and he’d sort the money out (how times have changed!). They had great success with the site and ran the park together for 27 years until we purchased it in November 1998.

Over our time at the park we’ve invested heavily in modernising the facilities. We completely renovated and remodelled the existing amenity blocks which always attract comments along the lines of, ‘They’re the best loos we’ve ever been in!’ In 2003 we installed a secure caravan storage compound for customers of the park which proved an instant success.

Our seasonal pitches are incredibly sought after and in 2015 we completed an extension to the park providing an additional twenty five seasonal superpitches with dedicated amenity block.

During the winter of 2015/6 we installed our first touring superpitches. We now have four available and these have proved incredibly popular.  To ensure you get yours get in touch soon!
