We've just had the result of our David Bellamy Conservation Award inspection and are delighted to say that we have achieved a GOLD for the twelfth year on the trot.  We know how much you enjoy watching the wildlife around the park from the barn owls and ducks to hedgehogs and hares.  At the moment we are enjoying many a flypast of Canada geese in the morning and evening which is impressive and honkily noisy!

It was as clear as a bell in sunny Scarborough this morning but here at Lebberston it took a while for the mist to clear.  It did leave some lovely cobwebs highlighted in the dew though and along the road to Redcliffe Farm the spiders had been particularly busy!

This is a great weekend for motorbike enthusiasts!  The Goldings are back on Saturday 12th with their daytime events culminating in a spectacular light parade along the front and firework display on South Bay Beach.  It's the Scarborough Gold Cup across both days at Olivers Mount too which promises to provide two great days of racing.

Get yourselves down to Filey Fake Festival this weekend.  It's a cracking line up of some great tribute bands and it all gets started at 1pm.  Click on the Fake Festival website for more info.

Had to run an errand to Grosmont this morning.  Oh it was such a chore driving over the moors with the heather in full flower and stopping off in sunny Scarborough on the way back.  Come on folks, get yourself to the East Coast for a blast of sunshine!

Wonderful afternoon in Filey on Sunday at the Food and Drink Festival.  Saw a few of our lovely guests down there too having a wander in the sunshine and listening to the fantastic Hunmanby and District Silver Band.  We also discovered a fabulous summer tipple of sloe gin and prosecco, yum!  Check our What's On page, the Discover Yorkshire Coast or the websites for more great events in the area.
