Coronavirus Covid-19 important information

Updated 30th July 2020

The health and safety of all our guests, team, family and local community is always our priority as we continue to adapt to our new normal with Covid-19.

From 3rd August it is our aim to have limited access to toilets facilities on our park.  Two ladies, two gents and one unisex toilet will be available for use.  These will be cleaned to our usual exceptional standards with additional measures in place to make them as safe as we can.  These measures will include a limit on numbers in the building to ensure social distancing, the use of masks while in the building, application of hand sanitiser before entry and posters noting the importance of thorough hand washing after use.  We hope this will help those of you who find using your own caravan facility difficult.

Covid-19 has not gone away and the strong recommendation remains that if you can use the toilet in your own unit you should do so.  This greatly reduces the risk to you, your family, our other guests, our team, our family and our local community from the spread of the virus.  All other shared facilities will remain closed.

This is subject to review and change at any time, possibly at short notice, so please bear with us as we continue to adapt to the ongoing situation.

We hope you are enjoying your summer and look forward to welcoming you to Lebberston Touring Park.

Updated 4th July 2020

Our park is now OPEN!

We are committed to protecting the safety of our family, guests and team members during the current Covid-19 pandemic.  The guidelines below apply to all guests and we ask that you read them thoroughly and ensure you understand and can abide by them before making your booking and your subsequent stay on our park.

If any member of your holiday party feel ill BEFORE arrival with symptoms of Covid-19 you must stay at home, inform us and cancel your visit.  Symptoms include a high temperature, new continuous dry cough and loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

If any member of your party develop any of the above symptoms while staying with us you must inform us IMMEDIATELY and return home.

If any member of your party feel ill within 14 days of staying with us you must notify us IMMEDIATELY.

We will contact you prior to arrival for final confirmation of your booking details and full payment.  At this point we will advise the arrival procedure to follow when you get to our park.

We are not accepting drop-in bookings.  Pre-booking is essential.

All guests must abide by the one metre plus rule.  Whenever possible remain at least 2m apart from people who are not staying in your unit.

All shared amenities are closed.  This includes toilets, showers, potwashes, laundry, bathrooms, shop, reception and tourist information area.

Chemical Disposal Points are accessible via a one way system which will be clearly marked.  Our CDP’s will be sanitised regularly but please ensure you clean up after yourself to ensure the safety of the next user.

Water points are accessible with social distancing.  Enhanced cleansing of water and waste points will be implemented by our team.

Hand sanitiser dispensers are located throughout the park but remember this is NOT a substitute for regular and thorough hand washing with soap and water for twenty seconds.

Our local community has also been in lockdown and is only now themselves beginning to utilise the area near their homes.  PLEASE CONSIDER AND RESPECT OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY.

We will keep updating guidelines as and when we receive them, as such these conditions are subject to change at any time.

We look forward to being able to welcome you onto our park soon and if you have a queries regarding any of the points made above or any other matter related to your stay with us, please get in touch.

Updated 11th May 2020

Following the PM's Covid-19 update on Sunday 10th May we've had several enquiries regarding the possibility of our park opening.  At the moment this looks unlikely until July at the very earliest.

The PM mentioned some areas of the hospitality sector may be able to open then however it should be noted that this was very clearly not all of the hospitality industry and is dependent on many targets being met. We understand your wish to visit the Yorkshire Coast but the government will of course need to take into account the large volume of people wanting to take holidays and the inevitable impact on local communities and NHS trusts in tourist areas and the ability to actually social distance in public before lifting any restrictions on holidays.

We know this is disappointing and if we have any more updates we will of course post them on Facebook and our website. In the meantime, please stay safe and healthy.

Updated Monday 23rd March 2020

Following Government instructions our park is now closed.

We will be in touch with all of our Lebberston caravanning family regarding existing bookings, be they touring or seasonal, as soon as we can but please bear with us as work our way through this process.

To all of our fabulous guests, we’d like to say a huge thank you for your patience and understanding at what is a very difficult time for everyone.  We are so lucky to have so many lovely people that enjoy coming to stay with us and we will sincerely miss you all in the months ahead.  These really are unprecedented times and at present we do not know when we will be able to open again.  We will of course keep our website updated with any news.

So for now, please stay safe and our heartfelt thoughts are given to those who have been and will be affected by the current pandemic.

With every good wish from all of the team at Lebberston Touring Park.
