Good morning everyone and a very happy Tour de Yorkshire to you all! Out of the window we can see blue sky, a smidge of sunshine and the glorious green countryside of GOC.  It's going to make a perfect cycling May Day Bank Holiday. Have a good one!

We hope you all had a good winter and that those of you who haven't been to see us yet are looking forward to your first outing.  Our new wardens, Shaun and Jo, have been getting stuck in and working hard with us getting everything ready.  So far they've seen the best and worst of the weather that good ol' Scarborough has to offer and are hoping for some more of the best!  Look forward to seeing you soon!

A sneaky peak at what we've been upto over the last couple of months.  The overhanging, leaning old Scots Pine have all gone on the far side of the park and only two electric boxes were harmed in the process! It looks so much better and the views are fantastic!

We can't believe it's the end of the season! A big thanks to all of you for staying with us to enjoy your holidays on the East Coast. Also a huge thank you to Stuart and Sara for all their help and support over the year, we will miss them lots. Our loss is the National Trust's gain!

We've been hedgecutting like things possessed this week.  Both big hedges around the amenity blocks are done and look very smart.  We all have achy breaky shoulders and jelly arms though!

The Gold Wings will be out in force in Scarborough next weekend.  From 10am until 4pm on 10th September they'll be displayed on the Foreshore near the lifeboat station.  From 8pm they parade around town in full illuminated glory which is a spectacle not to be missed. Enjoy!
